I hate to reference Wikipedia, but it has a pretty good description of what caused building 7 to go down.
As for thermite, it's definitely possibile to paint on (see the Mythbusters hindenburg episode), but it requires an extremely high heat to trigger the reaction. If you look at the video, the reaction is triggered with what I believe is a magnesium flare. And thermite in paint form is pretty shiny... most people would notice someone applying a bright metal paste to important objects. |

a protective film to stop rust on the collum posts?
who would wonder if a bridge got painted? the collums were sealed from the main building they could be accessed from the elevaters, or access doors. but this was done in time im guessing. and in all the stuff going on, who would notice someone sneak into a basement to start a reaction. building 7 smoked. then came down. concrete turned to powder. a sign of heat. |

Well, yeah, the building *DID* catch on fire when the others fell...

If you look at the video, the reaction is triggered with what I believe is a magnesium flare. after the failed first attempt, you think they might not get a few flares strapped to the collums? they got pilots, then planes. this took some time and thought. the symbols of the great satan state were going down. and if some element within our country helped? that don't mean they are the ones who run the country, or the world. |

I would think the buildings would collapse to one side or slide off to the weakened side instead of dropping like a demolition man's dream come true.

The problem is that the buildings weren't a single, solid object. It's going to collapse straight down no matter what you do, just because the outside
of the building isn't providing the support. Even if it collapses to an angle, given the immensity of the buildings, it's not going to appear to be
that great of an incline.

shinobinoz wrote: kinda like each support collum burning and getting weak together. ive heard they were 3 feet thick. there were also reports of molten metal. see any 3 foot thick collums at the end? jet fuel didnt do that im guessing |

Only a consistant weakening of all supporting beams could bring that building down like that. The hole on ones side would have gravity pulling the top away
from the bottom. The building certainly could not have dropped straight down without some help along the way. And yet BOTH went the exact same way?

They were brought down. Come countless employees heard the explosions. What, uh, happened to the debris from the "plane" that hit the Pentagon?
Seriously.

I'm sorry but that doesn't cut it. There was NO debris whatsoever no wings, fuselage, engines, nada. And they confiscated all video of the crash?!? If
a plane crashed into the Pentagon there should have been at least some REAL evidence. In those pictures there were pieces that easily proved that a plane
crashed. So, sorry Willi but I'm not buying it.

Planes in their construction are not particularly sturdy. They are built to be very lightweight, and are mostly hollow. The debris is not all that big. The
Pentagon's also not a cookie-cutter building... it's very strongly built. Those videos that were released publicly were state of the art, color
security cameras at ground level... but their frame rate is not fast enough to have a clear image of the plane. Which is par for the course for security
cameras.
